Evidence of Success
Hi Kelly!
Love the newsletter!! Thank you so much! I appreciate knowing what is going on in each class too so that I can ask Laura about it or share information that may complement what she is learning in school on homeschool days. It is great to have all the upcoming dates. It made it so easy for me to put it on our family big white board calendar for the month.
Also it is great to know what the upcoming projects are and was wondering if it is possible to get the assignment a week before the kids are to start it Maybe you are already planning to do that. If I can get the assignment at least a week ahead I feel like I would be able to get all the supplies and have time to put some thought and preparation into Laura's school day at home.
I am so excited that Laura has you as homeroom teacher. I love how organized you are!
Have a great week!
Let me know if you need anything.

**Testimonial e-mail from Mrs. Ellis (6th grade parent) to Mrs. Webster (ICT Site Coordinator):
Hi Mrs. Webster,
I just wanted you to know how thrilled Mark and I are that Hailey has every teacher on your 4-8th team for her teachers again this year. As always they go above and beyond to communicate what is expected of Hailey.
As an example, Hailey is enjoying ixl.com for Math and anyone who knows my daughter, knows how much she does not like math and Ms. Hirsch is changing that slowly.
Ms. Gruidl is winning brownie points with her history and art combo field trip that is has Hailey excited already. And her remind texts have me prepared for quizzes before they happen!
Actually all of your 6th grade teachers are texting me more than my husband! Lol.
Ms. Ower is also keeping me in the loop with her communication via texts and emails as she knows we have to work as a team to get Hailey on the right track from the get-go. In fact, she responds so quickly to an email it's like she has esp.
Mrs. Alwood is encouraging my reluctant reader to reader to read more and is challenging her in a loving and supportive way and Hailey is rising to that challenge and is almost finished with her first book.
Ms. Kotanan has really gone above and beyond by constantly texting me via remind and emailing me the weekly assignments to keep Hailey organized. When I inquired about planners because I was thinking about purchasing one, Ms. K assured me the school ones were on their way. However, she didn't stop there! She knows Hailey couldn't wait to get organized and created a two week planner and made Hailey fill it out. Then she stamped it and emailed me a list of what to look for that Hailey needed to complete both this week and looking ahead in ALL of her classes. THAT is something you would never find at any other middle school. Mark and I truly appreciate all the extra work that your 6-8th grade team does to go above and beyond just to make sure my child succeeds. Believe me, Hailey will be doing her part too.
